DRIVER NOMINATIONS FOR QUALIFYING

Monterrey, Mexico - The third official practice session for A1 Grand Prix’s Mexican race was a quieter affair today as clear conditions meant a dry track and no red flags throughout the hour long session.

There were a few unexpected faces in some of the cars as A1 Teams Australia, China and Mexico all changed their driver nominations before the start of the morning’s session. Christian Jones took the place of Marcus Marshall for Australia, Tengyi Jiang swapped with Ma Qinghua in the Chinese car and Salvador Duran drove for Mexico. All three drivers will stay in the car for this afternoon’s Qualifying.
